"This seems to be good leather. It is smooth, free of marks and very flexible, but it has a rather harsh odor. Perhaps it is fresh from tanning or perhaps it is treated for import but I've never purchased veg tan leather that has such a strong unpleasant odor. It doesn't have the normal odor of new leather that I find pleasant. Hopefully this will fade with time. I will not purchase this again."
