"The embosser is great. These flanges... are ok. The 2-inch flange doesn't offer much guidance to the leather when using the embosser due to the brass design wheel being about 2 inches itself. The 2 3/4 flange captures the edges of the leather well and would offer good guidance as the leather feeds thru the embosser. But there is a problem. When trying to get a good deep impression into some leathers, the 2 3/4 is so large that the flange edges impact the Allen wrench nuts holding on the washers below. This results in the Allen nuts gouging the flanges and causing this weird hiccup in the embossing that can actually be seen in the end product due to a change in the available pressure. I know that's confusing to read. I plan to send pictures to Weaver to better explain the issue."
