This economical, C grade veg tanned double shoulder has lots of defects. When you're searching for a leather that won't break the bank and you're willing to work around defects, this is a great choice. With a natural color, you can oil and dye it to your own specifications as well as add tooling. It's also a great leather for testing out new techniques or fine tuning the design of a prototype before cutting into a higher end leather.

"Not many imperfections. I used it so far for straps for a bag. It cut and slicked well. Feel is firm. Takes oil consistently. Will buy again."
"As a beginner knife maker I was looking for reasonably priced leather for the sheaths. After reading what C grade leather is, I expected far more defect. This does have some lines on it but for making knife sheaths, it's perfect. Very well packaged and very fast shipping."
"I give Weaver Leather Supply 4 ⭐'s because they have great products but prices are a little high, if prices were easier on the regular working individual, would definitely rate 5."
"Well pleased with it. only had to small places on it. I was surprised at the quality. will buy from weaver again."
"Everything about this leather was a good deal. The piece I received only had minor blemishes and they were within a couple of inches from the edge. The shipping was so fast it was a surprise when it showed up."
"has some wrinkles but overall good hide"
"I have purchased this leather for years. For the price it's hard to beat. Most if not all of my pieces are made for function, not for show. The scars, stretchmarks, and brands that are sometimes on this leather are a touch that I, and the folks I gift the items to, enjoy. If your looking for pristine leather, this isn't the one for you, but if you like the look of leather from an animal that lived, I think you'll enjoy this."
"Love the leather and the shipping was very fast ."
"I’m new to leather work. Used this to make straps for a bag I made. Loved working with it!"
