"I am so glad to include this labor saving device in my workshop! Right out of the box it only took 2-3 minutes to assemble. It was obviously well designed and constructed of high quality hardwood components. I’m still learning to be proficient in its use but it is apparent that it offers a “third hand” while you’re stitching. Very versatile in that there are literally countless ways to adjust its position for optimal comfort. I bought some peel n stick green felt to line the inside of the jaws to prevent scratching fine leather. I’m glad I have it and I’m assembling materials to start a new project now."

This is a great stitching

"This is a great stitching pony for the money. I mounted it to a monitor arm under my desk and pull it out when needed. It is tall enough the thread is not getting caught underneath it all the time. The piece of wood under the lever is a nice touch. The lever is great when I need to reposition. Happy with my purchase."

Poor quality item

"Poor quality item that constantly requires adjusting and tightening of screws. Clamp does not secure item without having to add a Irwin quick clamp. Wing-nut on bottom is poorly installed resulting in rotating clamp. In order for me to use this tool I have to adjust it constantly and it's a complete waste of time."

This won't hold well at

"This won't hold well at all. All adjustments fail. I have to move leather (2 pcs of 4 oz) after 3-4 stitches at 7 spi. Only one side holds & that is after adding material to each clamp. I would not recommend this at all."
