Awesome I wish I had biught this years ago.

"This horse is awesome. I wish I had bought it years ago. My stitching speed has improved by 300%. I added a few things to make things go smoother. I do have one question and one suggestion. Question: What is the metal on the left face of the clamp? asking because there are splinters around this peice and i want to know what it is before i clean it up. The suggestion is to put the bolts in a bag rather than where they go for installation. Several bolts ended up bent and had to be replaced."

The device itself is nice,

"The device itself is nice, works well. But the packaging for shipping is terrible. My box arrived in shambles. All the parts inside are simply wrapped in a single layer of newspaper print stock and put in a box to rattle around. Many of the parts are now chipped and scratched, but (surprisingly) all the parts arrived were still in the open box that UPS delivered. There are no assembly instructions but putting the thing together is intuitive enough. Weaver needs to seriously rethink how they pack and ship this thing."

Best helping hand you can ask for.

"I’ve wanted one for a while and decided to take a chance on this one. I did a little customizing to make it my own. No regrets, fair price and will made. Life is good."

I would buy this again

"I've wanted one of these for sometime now. The small pony wasn't working for me anymore. Wish I hadn't wait so long to buy. I love it."

"Frustrating. The catch that holds the clamp keeps slipping out"

I like the stitching horse

"I like the stitching horse real well it is a lot easier for me to sit and sew, I had to stand before and my back would get sore and I would have to stop and rest the new horse eliminated that problem. My only issue is I am a big man 6ft2in. 280 lbs. It would be nice if it was about 8 inches longer if I sit clear to the back it is easy to tip the horse over backwards."

It is great. We did

"It is great. We did have to make a few modifications, but it is a great addition to the shop."

Stitch horse.

"Main seat area twisted and cracked. This was the only piece made from pine, all other parts were oak. One leg was 1 inch off of ground when fully assembled. None of the parts were sanded or edge rounded to remove sharp slivery edges. The horse had been stained but not finished. This was a poorly done ninth grade shop project. I would expect more from the state of Ohio who have a sterling reputation for quality furniture. I would gladly pay more for a product that may one day passed down to my grandchildren."
