"The leather seemed very dry and required a lot of conditioning to look good, especially compared to other kit leather from this company. The instructions were not always clear and placement of the pocket was awkward. Would have been helpful to have stitch lines for pocket placement on a template or pattern. Definitely not for the intrepid beginner."

"A great project for the intermediate leathercrafter. This kit comes with all the leather and hardware, but not the tools. Not to difficult to put together, but the front pocket and the two sides can be quite difficult to get aligned correctly. The leather was absolutely superb, and had a beautiful feel. It also held my stamping wonderfully. This a fantastic project for those looking to do something a little bit harder."

"This was a fun little kit. I used 0.8 ritza tiger thread, and 4mm forks. Dyed with saddle tan and black pro dye. The buckle on the front is a different finish than all the other hardware, but not a huge deal (My wife didn't even notice). Everything is brass but the front buckle is an antiqued brass. This was my first attempt at skiving, a gusseted pocket, and at turned sides. It was a bit challenging as a beginner, but do-able. I added a card pocket inside as I know thats a must for my wife. It is big enough to hold her phone (a plus size iphone) and the weaver wristlet. My wife considers it a "crossbody bag" not a shoulder bag, but apparently if you shortened the strap it is a shoulder bag."
