"Ritza Tiger 25 is by far the best thread for hand sewing that I have used. I have tried bargain threads, other thread made in Germany and others still. Ritza is consistent in color, braiding, and usually the amount of wax - which sometimes does vary. I bought the pink in 1. 2mm, although I typically stay with 1. 0mm, only because of the tremendous price hike of the past few months for Ritza thread and the Weaver discounted price - maybe Weaver is discontinuing the pink color?. I wanted the pink for some projects honoring breast cancer victims and at that favorable price point the 1. 2mm was all that was available from Weaver - a better price even with the shipping fees. I do wish their threshold for free shipping was a little more competitive."
