This hammer has a nice
"This hammer has a nice weight and feels good in my hand. I use it to tamp down stitch lines and to get good adhesion when using contact cement."
Well, it hammers fine.

A little sanding and polishing needed.
"I use this hammer exclusively for pounding stitches, gluing, and anything where it hits leather. It came with a face smoothly polished but the bevel around it was not, and had sharp corners. With some oil, sand paper, jeweler’s rouge, and elbow grease, the sharp corners are gone. I also use the polished top of the “claw” for smoothing or, almost burnishing. One thing NOT to expect is getting the same product as in the picture. I also got one with a handle where the wood grain is going across instead of parallel. Hammer and axe nerds would know what I’m talking about, but this really wouldn’t matter for what I use it for. Over all, it works! I’m happy with what I got. It’s just my perfectionism that’s the problem. :)"

The narrow side of this
"The narrow side of this hammer gets can get in tight spaces similar to a corner of a box"
Great hammer. No flaws
"Great hammer. No flaws"
Not ready to use
"I blame fedex for the condition the box was in upon arrival, but it would have been nice to have this hammer inside a smaller box to prevent it bouncing around all willy nilly. Its decently weighted and fairly balanced, but as others have mentioned, it needs to be polished and buffed to be leather ready. The head is also slightly crooked on the handle, not a big deal as i have plenty of experience fitting handles to tools. Still, for near $50, i would expect this to be out of the box ready to use."
Just a hammer
"This hammer is decent. Nothing great.."
This is a great hammer!
"This is a great hammer! Nothing fancy, but that’s not what I need. Solid and made in USA! Weaver was great at getting it to me quickly too!"
