Very excited to try this kit

"This will be my first time working with leather, so I'm very excited to get started with this kit. Still need a get a few more supplies and tools, then I'll be ready to go. If I were to change one thing about this kit, it would be the pattern. I wish it was pre-cut and on a stiffer/more durable material. I plan on using this a lot and see this getting damaged over time. Hopefully Weaver will make an acrylic template like they've done for other items. Otherwise, this is a great if you've wanted to make a journal but didn't know where to begin."

I purchased this kit due

"I purchased this kit due to a customer wanting a larger journal cover. The paper pattern was nice however I would have liked something more stiffer. There is QR code to scan to follow video instructions however, after scanning the code page was not found, I had go to you tube to find the proper video. I also don't like that if you messed up cutting out the paper pattern you have no way of getting or printing an extra paper pattern. My suggestion is to make copies before you cut the pattern out of the paper. After I got started everything went together fairly quickly and was pretty easy."
