Leather Flip Flop Class

Step into sandal making in this hands-on Leather Flip Flop Class designed for beginners interested in learning foundational footwear techniques. In this workshop, participants will create their own pair of leather flip flops while gaining a basic introduction to sandal construction, leather dyeing, and machine sewing.

Students will work with natural vegetable-tanned leather and durable sole bends, finished with a rubber bottom for added grip and everyday wearability. Each participant will customize their project by selecting from Weaver Leather Supply’s full range of Pro Dye color options, creating a personalized look from start to finish. Instruction will also include guided use of a 205 sewing machine to assemble key components of the sandals.

This class is ideal for makers looking to explore a new area of leathercraft. Participants will leave with a completed pair of flip flops and practical skills they can build on for future footwear projects.

Sizing Information:
Available adult shoe sizes range from 6–12. Participants needing a size outside this range must contact the store prior to class so materials can be prepared.
