Leather Dopp Kit Class

Take your leatherworking skills to the next level in this intermediate-level Dopp Kit Class, held at the Weaver Leather Supply retail store. In this hands-on workshop, participants will craft a classic Leather Dopp Kit from start to finish using premium American Bison Leather in a gorgeous chocolate color. This distinctive pull-up leather highlights every mark and crease, showcasing rich color variation and natural movement that exudes one-of-a-kind character. With use, it develops a beautiful patina and only gets better with age.

Led by knowledgeable instructors, you’ll build on your foundational skills while learning key techniques such as installing a zipper, precise leather prep and assembly, and confidently operating a leather sewing machine. This class is ideal for makers who are comfortable with basic leatherworking and ready to tackle more advanced construction methods. You’ll leave the class with a finished, functional Dopp Kit and practical skills you can apply to future projects!
