"I got the 3/8" Nickel, 1/8" Inside Diameter Washer, Steel, 24-packto use when the Head of the 1/8" Rivet is a bit too small for the Hole in the wood. I also use them for a more Solid backing for the Split Rivets. They Work Very well. I have also used them on the Strap that is used to open the Accessory pocket of the Guitar case when the Strap just pulls off of the 7/16" head of a Rivet."
