"Bought this for two projects; cast iron handle covers and leather oven mitts. So far so good for the handle covers, nice weight with super soft hand and veg tan so no chance of toxic chromium VI with exposure to heat! The piece I received has quite a few natural markings and blemishes throughout, some seem like they're manmade not natural but honestly I'm not savvy enough to tell 100%. Regardless, for my specific projects I don't need large perfect swaths so I'm happy."
