"For me it's perfect and yes it's cast steel if it were forged steel I'd give 5 stars no flaws in casting and for light duty it's great and perfectly suited for leather work but not for blacksmiths."

I should have bought this
"I should have bought this anvil at the beginning of my leathercraft journey. It makes thins so much easier to accomplish. The size is just right for my shop. This is a great tool."

"Outstanding and is one of the handiest tools on my bench."
Super useful, and doesn't hurt it looks nice too
"Did I need it? Maybe. Am I glad I got it, heck yea. Super useful, and doesn't hurt it looks nice too on the workbench. The portable size is heavy enough to not move/slide around, but not so much that it is a pain to move."
This is such a great
"This is such a great anvil. I have been working with a small cheap anvil I purchased from Tandy Leather which I bought on sale many years ago. But this anvil is substantial and so well designed. Well worth the money. “The cheap always comes out expensive”…. So just buy quality from the start."
"This anvil is awesome for all my projects."
Dont drop it on your foot
"A serious piece of metal. It is an anvil for sure. I see it as a blacksmiths anvil that has been shunk down to be perfect for leather maker. I wish it had instructions to explain the holes and their uses, but I did not find any. If it does have some, i didnt get it. If it was on the little box, well that didnt make it to Texas all that well. A little surprised at the packaging, or lack of. It was just loose to move around with my buckles and rivets all jumbled together in a box. Not something I have ever seen from Weaver. Maybe it was a new guy, or maybe when they have to start replacing lost or damaged stuff, they will take the time to package it right.Maybe Chuck can do a short video to explain all the uses of this nice anvil. I would definitely appreciate and watch it."
"My husband didn’t think he needed this. But has used it multiple times a day everyday since we received it"
