Not a glue pot!

"Increases time to use cement. Cleans up easily with the silicon bottle. Learning curve on time-to-dry vs. volume needed. Picture is cement unused after 6 hours. Clearly I overestimated how long the cement would last in this bottle. As title says- not a glue pot. Brush is nice, I like the back spatula!"

"I haven't really found a glue that is would be used for!"

Glue Bottle

"The concept is good. The reason for only 3 stars is because the brush needs to stay in the lid a little better. This is not a Storage container, only fill glue to the mark and use it that day ( with the brush in the lid) then clean up after you are finished for the day."

Glue Pot - good idea, needs refinement.

"This product uses good material and cleans up easily, but I don't think its ideal for what I thought I would use it for. The price is expensive for the size. The spatula and brush were fine, and held up to use. The bottle was soft pliable silicon-type and cleaned up easily. The lid screwed on but was tough to seat correctly given the soft pliable nature of the jar. The hole in the lid was small and got messy with stringy glue quickly. The stopper on the spatula/brush was good at notching (almost sealing) into lid, but occasionally it would topple out. Comments This is not a permanent storage for glue, so if you use it as intended (temporary) then I would expect there to be a lot of waste. After one over-night the contact cement I was using solidified but was easily removed. Glue from the brush bristles and the spatula was easily cleaned up. The jar base would bow and bulge over the few hours of use. This would make the spatula fall out of the hole. I am not sure why the base bowed, maybe because of temperature changes, maybe because I was using contact cement, maybe because the brush bristles were pushing against it. Regardless, the jar did not sit flat. I don't really recommend this product for a hobbies."
