Soft and looks awesome
"I expected the leather to be darker, but wasn't too dissapointed, it still looks unique. When the leather is manipulated, the dark brown cracks and exposes more tan underneath, and when relaxed the tan mostly goes away. It was satisfying just bending it like a stick of licorice. Leather itself is soft and smooth, and has a nice fragrance. It does scratch easy because of the wax finish, usually it will rub off, may need heat for deeper scratches to melt and blend the wax. Only issue I had was in beveling the leather. Due to the leather having no firmness whatsoever, as I beveled, it would scrunch up. For context, I used a #0 bevel, and haven't sharpened it yet, though I've only used it for 2 other small projects. Fix was easy, went at it from the other direction slowly. The flesh side is too hairy and wasn't possible for me to bevel, maybe a bigger bevel might've done it. But I only own the 1. Hot foil stamping works, I'm still trying to get it right, I think my machine was too hot, or I applied too much pressure for too long so it isn't crisp. In conclusion, love the leather, and will buy more as soon as my arm grows back."
