"Came sharp and ready to use"
"Quality made knife but difficult to get a good sharp edge, regardless, still a useful tool around my shop."
"very poor quality sharpening on blade =it had an upward sloped belly on the middle of the blade was not worth sending back as shipping cost as much as the blade. I would not recommend it"
"Purchased this knife to make cutting holsters out of thicker material. It arrived very quickly (great job guys) but the blade was exceptionally sharp out of the box. Factory edge was stropped and put to work. Good quality steel securely mounted to comfortable wood handle. I would recommend this tool to anyone who is looking to add to their ability turning out professionally made projects."
"Really nice knife by C. S. Osborne & Company and a great addition to my workbench. Good quality metal holds a nice edge."
"Needs finishing. Expected for the price."
"Once you spend a good bit of time getting all the tool marks out of the blade on a good stone and then polish for a long time this knife works fine. Maybe it was only mine but it needed a lot of work. It’s cheap for a reason I reckon."
"easy to sharpen"
"For about $8 what can one expect? The blade had a dull finish, and the edge appeared to have been carelessly ground on a grinding wheel. There were deep grind marks and a heavy wire edge. A 600 grid diamond stone, followed by 1000 grit made the blade useful. I expected better quality from Osborne."
"Keep it sharp and stropped"
