"I bought this 2 prong buckle for a custom belt made for a family friend who lives in NW Washington. It was for a 1-3/4” belt and the double prong helps prevent the buckle from cocking sideways under heavy load. He’s a SERIOUS mountain hiker and loves his new belt."
"These buckles are measured from the front to the back of the buckle; roller bar to bottom bar. Actual length is about 2-1/2" x 2" These are quite well made, heavy duty, and hella chunky. Perfect for a belt that supports the sword you'll carry to the next renfaire, toolbelts, farrier belts, really anything that requires a beast of a belt."

"Great buckle, beefy ans strong. That said, this is the second time I ordered this buckle in this size, i also ordered 2 of the 2 inch #999s, and for some reason when i ordered the 2-1/2 inch in Nickel Plated, i got stainless steel and when I ordered 2 of the 2 inch stainless steel, i got Nickel Plated. Anyone ordering these should probably keep that in mind and maybe ask to make sure. I mentioned it a few times to customer service, but they didn't seem to believe me. Not sure what else I can do but just deal with it. The two that were supposed to be plated were worth, I think $7, compared to $2. 70, so the friend i made collars for using them made out alright (though they don't match the rest of the nickel hardware I used, nit that he noticed), but I, who kept the other 2, ended up losing out with buckles a few dollars cheaper than what I paid for. Oh well. They're still awesome buckles."
"Building collars for very motivated protection dogs, requires tough hardware. These are built strong, The tongues are not flimsy, and the way the bar where the tongues are secured. This keeps the tongues where they belong."
