Small ones good, big ones always damaged

"This is the peice of hardware that I use and buy the most, it is an essential part of my best selling product. The 1 inch ones are always perfect, beautiful, and classy. HOWEVER everytime I have ordered the 1 1/2 inch ones they have been horrifically tarnished and scratched. At $6. 60 a pop there is no reason for this hardware to look this rough, and require a ton of work on my end just to make it usable. BUT weaver is the only brand I've found that has the brass squares this big, so they have my buisness, but it's really disappointing to spend so much and have it look like this."

Super beat up

"These squares are the exact size I need, but they look like they have been put through ALOT. The top layer of finish is coming off many of them to reveal a darker metal underneath so I'm unsure if these are actually solid brass like they say. They are like speckled with little black dots and it just does not look good. Could maybe work if you are looking for super distressed hardware. I ordered 6 and they all look like this"
