"These seem pretty low quality for the price. The finish on the metal is rough where they are riveted. This make the movement not smooth. They are not very sharp out of the box. The nub it leaves behind seems too tall for rivets. I will try to grind them down and sharpen them a bit to see if that helps. Comes in a generic “Made in China” box. Quality level feels like something you would get off Amazon or Ali Express. Rare miss for Weaver on this product. Would be cool if you could stock something this size of better quality."

"I was making the Simple Leather Bag as showed in Weaver's Youtube Video and purchased leather and the rivets. I was unable to nip the copper rivets no matter what tool I used. I purchased the 14" nipper after getting feedback from customer service suggesting that this would be much easier because of the length of the handle. And it worked... Thanks Weaver Leather Supply:)"

"i like all your products and i am learning to make medieval leather armor and would like to know what are the best rivets to use with 10 to 12oz. leather?"
Good tool
"Isn’t what I was expecting, wanted a longer pair of nippers to cut off bigger rivet studs, but theses nippers aren’t flat and leave a substantial nub that needs to be peened down and doesn’t finish as well as I like. Oh well I’ll find a use for them in my shop someplace."
