Just right for fixing a stirrup with a broken buckle
"The pin on one of my stirrup buckles broke (while jumping - that was a surprise when one of my stirrups started getting longer and longer!). I've never had the actual buckle break, crazy! The leather was still good, so rather than get a new pair I got this. It appears to be sufficiently solid for use on actual stirrups, and indeed I have jumped with it and it held up fine. Hopefully it will last longer than the one it replaced!"
