Poor split. Disappointing. Customer service not responding.

"I'm using 8 ounce Leather for my products. The splitter, brand new, will not split more than one split on 8 ounce Leather. It is inconsistent. I am unable to make products that I've made before because of the poor performance of this splitter. Being only a few hundred dollars cheaper than the 14 inch splitter from leather machine Co., this is not worth the money! I'm very disappointed with the customer service that I've gotten from Weaver leather. They have not responded to my emails or my phone calls. This is unlike Weaver. I have never had any problems with them and I have been using them for years. You spend thousands of dollars on a on a blade and you expect it to cut something. And if it doesn't you expect customer service to fix it. What do I do with this hunk of steel? How do I make my products now?"
