I used Chicago screws instead of snaps to attach the buckle, and they worked great with the pre-punched holes as well. Black - Nice consistent quality
"Why edge paint this yourself when you can have it delivered already done? So glad I chose this option. The color is struck through so anywhere I needed to cut, then finish the edges, I dabbed some dye on and went over it with some beeswax. Sands fine too. No soft spots, the leather was consistent in density and feel with what I'd consider to be a medium temper. Not soft, not too stiff either. The black color was a matte finish."

"Just not the thickness I was expecting. Always seem to be on the 8 oz side and never thicker. I wish there was an option for the same colors and with holes, but no edge paint. Why they didnt include that is odd."
