"I decided to invest in this tool but it has not worked for me as good as I hoped. I used my pondicherry board under it and could hardly get it through the leather without pounding relentlessly and it still wasn't all the way through. So I used it on my granite slab which I know you don't want to do but it was the only way to get the punch through the leather. Well now its chipped up and I've tried sharpening it but its still bad. I wonder if mine was defective or something but I'm so sad I spent so much money on it and it's worthless."
