- Polycarb leather cutting dies easily and accurately cut shapes from leather up to 8-9 oz. thick for consistent results every time
- Die boards are precisely cut from 1/2" thick polycarbonate, a lightweight material that is 30 times more resistant to impact than acrylic
- Clear polycarbonate die board allows you to place your die accurately on your leather
- .937" tall, 3 point steel rule is precisely machine bent, welded at the seam and carefully hammered into the die board for reliable cutting performance
- High density ejection foam is added to the die to help prevent leather from accumulating during the cutting process. Important note: Do not remove the ejection foam or mistake it for packaging material. It is necessary for the proper function of your new die.

I Bought This Because It Was Cheaper
"I'm not a fan of plastic, and I wasn't sure of the quality, but the thing works well. The plastic is thick and the metal goes all the way through so you're not really putting pressure on the plastic. While I don't know if I'll buy another one because of my aversion to plastic, they seem to be up to Weaver's usual high quality."
