Priced Per Piece A ...... Allows for 1 to 2 small defects in the prime areas and 3 to 4
Sold by the hide, the side or the cut (e.g. the bend). defects in the non-prime areas.
Priced Per Square Foot B ....... Can have 3 to 4 defects in the prime areas, 6" to 12" of damage or
waste and some small holes in the non-prime areas of the hide.
Leather is accurately measured by machine at the tannery and C ....... Allows more than 12" of damage or waste and color variation.
the square footage is clearly stamped on each piece. TR .... A standard method of buying leather that consists of 25% A grade,
Priced Per Pound 50% B grade and 25% C grade.
Leather sold by the pound is weighed when we ship it from
our warehouse. (Per pound pricing applies to sole leather.)
